Community Events and Tournaments: ’26-’27 Season

Every event takes place at the Cape Ice Rink at Gull Crest Fields, 1 Gull Crest Drive, Cape Elizabeth. Registration is open now, with more events announced as they’re confirmed!

• Thursday, December 10: First Skate Celebration (no tickets or registration required)
• Saturday, December 19: Skate with Santa & Friends
• Thursday, December 31: New Year’s Eve Sparkle Skate, for Friends of the Rink and Cape residents (no tickets or registration required)
• Thursday, December 31 and Friday, January 1: New Year’s Youth Pond Hockey Tournament
• Friday, January 8 and Saturday, January 9: Adult Winter Classic Pond Hockey Tournament (weather backup: Sunday, January 10)
• Monday, January 18: MLK Day Youth Pond Hockey Tournament
• Sunday, January 24: Mites Winter Classic Cross-Ice Tournament #1
• Saturday, January 30: Ladies Winter Classic Pond Hockey Tournament
• Sunday, January 31: Mites Winter Classic Cross-Ice Tournament #2 (weather backup for both Mites tournaments: Sunday, February 7)

As an outdoor rink, we occasionally adjust or cancel for weather. Registered participants and ticket holders are emailed directly about changes, and updates are posted to our Facebook and Instagram pages.
